About

I am in my 30’s and live in Minneapolis near the lakes with my two daughters. Being a mother is my #1 job and the thing in life that brings me the most joy, but I am also a consummate daydreamer, a writer, an engaged and active citizen, a friend, a sister, a daughter, sometimes a lover, an intellect, a reader, a thinker, contradictory, imperfect, but doing my best and enjoying this wild journey that is life!

I invite you to share in the small snippets of my life that I post on here. Hopefully some things will make you laugh, make you think, inspire you, maybe make you cry, but at the very least – not bore you to death! I will try to be as open of a book as I can be, although I will not put anyone else’s full/real name on here – as they aren’t the ones who decided to open up their lives in a blog!

I am trying to write a somewhat brief account of my life – but after the Part I, decided it was must too personal to share with coworkers, professional contacts, etc. and since I linked my blog on my Facebook page – it was too late to try to be anonymous. I do not mind sharing my story with those I love and trust or with complete strangers I will never know – so if you are interested in the password to the Parts II, III, IV, V etc. use the contact form and I will get it to you!

  1. You’re a talented writer and there’s a honesty and kindness in your words, expressing your inner beauty. I love your poetry, it’s the kind of creation that comes from the heart and a true gift. I think that you’re a great example to your daughters and i admire you for putting them on the first place in your life.
